VX220 Speedster & Europa Turbo Map Sensor
MAP sensors measure air pressure within the intake system
MAP sensors send important information to the vehicle ECU. This information, together with information from other vehicle sensors, allows the fine control of the fuelling system.
A faulty MAP Sensor can lead to the following problems;
Unstable or erratic running engine
Abnormal increase of fuel consumption
Engine power loss
Misfiring
Smokey emissions
Engine stalls or will not start
