V6 Exige 20mm Drop Rear GT Uprights.

A significant improvement in handling for Track/Race cars especially if running lower than standard ride height.

The complete unit can be supplied pre-assembled and can include a New BEARING packs with speed / ABS sensors if required and our special High Tensile Cap Head bolts.

Please note these uprights are not for road cars as they cannot be used in conjunction with the original handbrake assembly.

Eliseparts have been manufacturing billet uprights for over 16+ years and in this time we have developed and improved the design with the help of Lotus Motorsport .

Our uprights are installed and raced on over 300 Lotus race and track cars throughout the world.

These GT Uprights address several design issues the original uprights suffer from and allow lower suspension settings without going too wild for road use.

The centre hub has been repositioned 20mm higher thus allowing up to a 20mm drop in ride height without any change in wishbone angle.

This is VERY significant as it keeps the correct wishbone angles and greatly improves low ride height stability.

For example if you want your vehicle to run at 120mm ride height, this will need a minimum 16mm drop which will change the wishbone angle by up to 3 degrees, whereas with these uprights that angle will not change at all for the same ride height.

Also you will normally find the springs are loose at full droop.

The hub upright itself has been also been designed to facilitate 2 degrees more camber than the original upright allows.

Rear Toe and Bump Steer is easier to set as it no longer requires the use of the rear cam bolt.

You will notice a fair difference in the handling characteristics and your car will be greatly improved with this relatively simple change.

Several companies have tried to emulate these but none offer all of the advantages and simplicity of ours especially at the price.

1.  HARD Anodised aircraft specification 6262-T6 aluminium to resist corrosion and wear..

2.  Accepts our new 6 Pot EP Racing caliper OR the original 4 Pot Lotus / AP calipers.

3.  Bump Steer adjustment is much easier and more accurate than using the Cam-bolt on the rear sub frame.

4.  Specifically designed for more camber adjustment than the original.

5.  CNC machined from 6262-T6 alloy, stronger than OE cast aluminium version.

6. Will work with original equipment Wishbones and Dampers or our New 2 Way Quantum Racing Shocks

7. Will accept original equipment 330mm Brake Discs

8.  Upgrade to 330mm or 343mm Floating or Fixed Brake Discs, you can find our special EP Racing Discs here

9.  Supplied with 8 x specially manufactured High Tensile steel cap head bolts.

10. Sets the rear toe link bolt in double sheer rather than single sheer (MUCH stronger).

11. Highest quality NMB Bearings used and Stainless Steel Conical spacers

12. Rear Brake Cooling Ducts are also available if required.
