V6 Exige Race GT Uprights.

An absolute necessity for Lotus V6 race cars especially if running lower ride height and sticky compound tyres.

The complete unit can be supplied pre-assembled and can include New BEARING packs with speed / ABS sensors if required and our special High Tensile Cap Head bolts.

Eliseparts have been manufacturing billet uprights for over 16+ years and in this time we have developed and improved the designs with the help of Lotus Motorsport .

Our uprights are installed and raced on over 300 Lotus race and track cars throughout the world.

This latest design is the ultimate upright for the Exige V6 and Evora race cars as we have improved overall stiffness yet managed to save weight.

The centre hub has been repositioned 40mm higher thus allowing up to a 40mm drop in ride height without any change in wishbone angle.

This is VERY significant as it keeps the correct wishbone angles and greatly improves low ride height stability.

For example if you want your vehicle to run at 95mm ride height, this will need a 35mm drop from standard which will change the wishbone angle by up to 6 degrees, whereas with these uprights that angle will not change at all for the same ride height.

We have found the ideal ride height for a V6 Race car to be 90-95mm front and 95-100mm rear.

The hub upright itself has been also been designed to facilitate 2 degrees more camber than the Original Steel upright allows.

You will notice a vast difference in the handling characteristics and your car will be greatly improved with this relatively simple change.

1.  HARD Anodised aircraft specification 6262-T6 aluminium dissipates heat better so increases lifespan of front wheel bearings

2.  Accepts our new 6 Pot EP Racing caliper OR the original 4 Pot Lotus / AP calipers without the need for a heavy steel adaptor.

3.  Specifically designed and machined for more camber adjustment than the original.

4.  CNC machined from 6262-T6 alloy, stronger, yet no heavier than OE steel version.

5.  Hard Anodised to resist corrosion and wear.

6. Can be supplied with our lightweight Brake Cooling Ducts

7.  Will accept the original Lotus 332mm Front Brake Discs

8.  Upgrade to 332mm or 343mm Fully Floating or 2 Piece Front Brake Discs. Our special EP Racing Discs are here

9.  Supplied with 6 x High Tensile steel cap head bolts

10. The wheel Studs shown in some pictures are not included but can be purchased here or via the related products below.
