Pro Alloy Triple Pass Upgraded Full Aluminium Radiator.

Dimensionally identical to the single pass radiator except the end tanks are divided internally.

The advantages of this are as follows;

The water remains in the cooler for longer as it has to make three separate passes of the core face.

Hot spots are eliminated as the water is forced to take a specific passage backwards and forwards across the core face.

Recommended for large power Toyota engined cars or cars with engine conversions. Track cars only.

It has a single row 40mm thick, high efficiency alloy core has all aluminium end tanks, perfect for high pressure systems.

One often misleading theory is that multi row cores are better in terms of performance than single row units. In practice, there is more to this than simply adding up the number of cooling tubes and assuming that quantity wins the day.

The calculation required here is tube volume, and it is very easy to see how a single row, wide port tube is larger in its port area than two smaller tubes sat side by side.

Further to this, a single row core doesn't have any divisions in the flow path, and they also have a better surface contact to the cooling fins.

Cutting the two core types down the middle and examining them in cross section reveals the difference in design, and further measuring often yields evidence that more core tubes is not always the better choice.

This High Performance Alloy Water Radiator also has all holes pre drilled ready to fit making a simple straight replacement for the standard unit.

Can be supplied with one of the following Fan fitting options.

Single Fan Mounting Kit consisting of 316 marine grade brackets, rivets, stainless steel fixings and genuine Spal plastic fixing brackets.
Twin Fan (Non-Aircon) Bracket Kit consisting of 304 grade stainless steel xylan coated brackets and stainless steel fixings.
Twin Fan (Aircon) Bracket Kit consisting of genuine Lotus powder coated brackets and stainless steel fixings.
