<p align="left"><font face="Tahoma" size="2">These ingenious adaptors give you the choice of hundreds of styles of wheels. They have the ability to convert 95.25PCD hubs to the most common PCD 4 x 100 PCD (Toyota,VW,Nissan,Vauxhall,Rover,Seat,Suzuki,Mazda and Skoda) the supplied unit is 25mm thick so is idael to use with the common 37/35eT (offset) as most aftermarket wheels are normally a 35mm or 37mm offset these will reduce the offset to the ideal Lotus configuration.<br />
Supplied complete with new high tensile bolts, nuts &amp; washers.<br />

    <description><![CDATA[<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">The design of the Elise/Exige cooling system is not ideal as the &lsquo;K&rsquo; series engine was designed for a FWD car and the Elise is a RWD car.<br />

Specifically designed for the Elise and Exige this remote thermostat can be fitted almost anywhere in the cooling system although we advise the best location in our instructions. The cylinder head takes the brunt of many oscillations in temperature ranges caused by the thermostat constantly opening and closing and very cold water coming back through several metres of pipework from the front of the car. These temperature variations can cause the head to expand and contract many times ultimately causing head gasket failure. Our remote thermostat alleviates the thermal shock caused by the cold water hitting a hot cylinder head. It can be fitted in&nbsp;around&nbsp;3&nbsp;hours and comes complete with new hose clamps and full fitting instructions. Fit it sooner rather than later as the cost of a head gasket failure will be 10 times the cost of this easy to fit simple unit. The unit is supplied with a 86&deg; thermostat (starts opening at 80&deg; ) and is designed to run at around the early 80's.<br />

    <description><![CDATA[<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">Unfortunately the 'K' series engine is prone to head gasket failure due to various factors. One troublesome area can be&nbsp;eradicated&nbsp;by using this adjustable radiator fan controller.<br />

</font><font face="Tahoma" size="2">Simple wiring job connects to the Stack Speedo, no mechanical fixing into pipework.<br />
<br />
</font><font face="Tahoma"><font size="2">This Electronic Fan Controller allows you to set a desired temperature for the fan to kick in. While monitoring the coolant temperature, the fan controller also monitors the wheel speed to prevent the fan from over revving and thus to prevent it from breakage.<br />

</font></font><font face="Tahoma" size="2">Normally, the fan is controlled by the ECU which is set to approx 105&deg; C. In our opinion, this temperature is too high. <br />
The switch installed on the column shroud &amp; allows you to set the temperature to a desired level. <br />
After setting up, the fan controller will provide a safety barrier to prevent a potential head gasket failure and head &quot;softening&quot; caused by overheating the aluminium cylinder head.<br />

Unfortunately this red clutch hose is made from plastic tubing and runs down the N/S sill section touching the heater return pipework, this causes it to expand (especially in hot weather). If this coincides with stop/start traffic complete loss of the clutch is experienced.<br />

<p align="justify"><font face="Tahoma">The Standard Elise radiator is another weak point in the cooling system. Although it is lightweight, it has plastic end tanks which are prone to expanding and leaking under pressure.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Tahoma">If you are racing or are a serious track day enthusiast we recommend our FULL Aluminium Radiator; Specifically manufactured for us as a direct replacement and built to the highest standards using F1 technology. <br />
This has a larger capacity, more cooling fin area and aluminium end tanks so it will not burst even at substantially higher temp/pressure. It is more efficient so you will notice a drop in your usual running temperature. <br />
<br />
We have fitted one to a supercharged Elise (which had temperature problems) and this radiator reduced the usual temperature from 93 degrees to 86.&nbsp; I have also fitted one to my Turbo'd Elise along with several Race cars, all now run an efficient operating temperature.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Tahoma">Our radiator utilizes a 45mm thick twin row core.The standard cooler on the early Elise is 32mm single row and the VX220 Turbo is 40mm thick single row. The flow rate of our core is very similar to that of the VXT but we have added an extra 1600 cubic mm of cooling fins rejecting the heat into the air flow.The twin row core is also far stronger than a single row set up.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Tahoma">Another plus point is that we bond our laser cut side mount channels into place - this we find, allows the radiator outer shell to absorb vibration without stressing the core section.</font></p>
<p align="justify"><font face="Tahoma">These radiators have been extensively tested on 330 BHP Audi powered cars (running temps stable at 76 degrees) 300 BHP VX Turbos (running temps down from 88 degrees with 200bhp to 84 degrees with 300bhp!!) and many high powered Honda conversions.</font></p>

<p><font face="Tahoma"><font size="2"><strong>TRIPLE MAP FACILITY</strong><br />
Using a simple, user configurable, voltage input you can now switch between three completely different maps held inside the ECU&rsquo;s memory. This is not just a case of having different fuel or ignition maps. The Emerald K3 ECU holds the total map parameters in memory allowing you to conveniently switch between maps with different warm up values, rev limits, and boost control settings, etc, as well as fuel and ignition timing.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp; As an example you can set up one map for unleaded, another for high octane fuel and a third for the new E85 BioEthanol fuels. You can have different boost level settings on a turbo engine and switch between maps as you drive. You can even have different boost levels in different gears.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp; The ability to switch maps on the fly from the dashboard allows you to change fuel grades mid journey, lower the rev limit for a &ldquo;guest&rdquo; driver or run a slightly weaker mixture for motorway cruising - as opposed to a maximum attack track map where everything is set up for power and nothing else. Experience and imagination will undoubtedly find many other uses for this superb new triple map feature.<br />
<br />
<strong>ADAPTIVE MAPPING</strong><br />
Fuelling learns as you drive<br />
Currently standard production ECUs have a self learning system for the fuelling which ensures that the air to fuel ratio remains where the car manufacturer meant it to be. This has only been possible with the development of the wide band lambda sensor. Consequent mass production of wide band sensors has now made these affordable to car builders and modifiers working on a budget.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp; The new K3 software and firmware package includes an adaptive mapping system but unlike the OE systems our target maps are fully adjustable by you, the end user. The adaptive learning map exactly overlays the base fuelling map so you can have exactly the air to fuel ratio that YOU want anywhere in the speed and load range.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp; The target and correction maps are now colour coded so you can instantly identify rich or weak areas (red is rich and blue is weak). This is yet another example of Emerald&rsquo;s hands-on approach to ECU software design; practical as well as pleasing to the eye.<br />
More flexible?<br />
Need more flexibility? You have a fourth adaptive mapping screen that allows you to switch from closed loop to open loop to adaptive mapping from one load cell to another (feed-back mode) &ndash; giving you total control at all times.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Taking a voltage input from 0 to 5 volts you can define the signal from any of the currently available aftermarket wide band readers. You can tell the ECU what to learn, when to learn it, by how much and how quickly. You get total control of the self mapping system and you can have different AFR values for all three different maps in the ECU. That&rsquo;s real flexibility.<br />
Boost control<br />
Boost control against engine rpm is an essential part of turbo control but the better systems have always had boost control against throttle position as well as rpm. This gives you the ability to back off the boost as you lift the throttle &ndash; giving much more control than the all-or-nothing approach of some systems. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Emerald has now added boost control functions input from the gear ratio. With input from a road wheel sensor the ECU calculates which gear you are in and therefore you can run different boost levels in different gears. There is also the facility to have the boost control over-ridden from a control knob on the dash giving the driver total control over the engine boost parameters. By adding this to the triple map switching facility we believe there has never been a more flexible system on the market at this price.<br />
Individual cylinder trims<br />
The K3 ECU can now trim cylinders on an individual basis allowing simple calibration of unmatched injectors or fuel and ignition trims to suit individual cylinder efficiencies. Each cylinder can be trimmed with positive or negative gains.<br />

</font></font><font face="Tahoma"><font size="2"><strong>EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE<br />
</strong>Closed loop on EGT for boost and fuelling<br />
Exhaust gas temperature is a critical measurement for high performance engines. The new K3 software allows you to read-in exhaust gas temperature from a suitable thermocouple via the CAN bus. You can then set port temperature limits in the software to reduce turbo boost and/or add fuelling to safeguard the engine. You also get the EGT reading on the live mapping screen allowing you to monitor the engine during mapping. The system already contains the calibration for the Audi/VW EGT sensor making the new K3 a must for anyone using the VW Audi 1.8 Turbo engine as a transplant.<br />
<br />
<strong>MOVABLE SPEED SITES</strong><br />
Emerald has always been proud of the speed capability of the system. Previously we had 32 speed sites at 500rpm intervals giving a total rpm span from Zero to 15,500rpm. The system has been bench tested on a simulated 36-1 trigger wheel to a staggering 44,000rpm - before it started to lose accuracy! We were confident that our 15,500rpm rev limit was no idle boast but to the best of our knowledge nobody has ever made use of it. Users were therefore asking for more speed sites over a lower speed range. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Consequently the K3 software package allows you to move the speed site position; which means you can shuffle the sites down the rpm range and have them anywhere you like. We wanted to give even the most demanding customer no cause for complaint so the resolution on site setting is one rpm (1 rpm). You can space them anywhere you like, even or uneven and all speed related events, like warm up tables, ignition sites, etc, move position to stay in alignment. This means you can move sites half way through mapping and carry on as if nothing had changed: practical as well as clever. <br />
<br />
<strong>FLEXIBLE SETTINGS</strong><br />
Movable load sites<br />
It&rsquo;s the same story with load sites. Rather than having them fixed you can now move them to a resolution of one percent (1%) and with so many new throttle body designs coming onto the market this allows you to set up the maps for traditional butterfly bodies or roller barrels &ndash; whatever the design. Should you feel the need to experiment you can have different speed and load sites on each of the three available maps. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Load can also be read from a manifold air pressure sensor rather than throttle angle simply by changing the software configuration.<br />
VVT Cam Control<br />
K3 now features full control of the Rover cam duration (VVC) engine or variable cam timing systems with algorithm for oil temperature. No more dash mounted on/off switches!<br />
Sensor calibration<br />
Traditionally, with an eye on simplicity, we at Emerald have stayed with one fixed air and one water temperature sensor calibration file. Due to the wide diversity of applications now available we have subsequently included the ability to user define the sensor calibration. Since we doubted that many of our customers would have access to climate chambers we have adopted a clever software strategy for sensor calibration.<br />
&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; You enter the sensor value at ambient (room) temperature. Next you place the sensor in ice and record the value at zero degrees C. Follow this up with boiling water (100 degrees C) and the software does the rest. A true parabolic curve is drawn through all three points allowing you to calibrate almost any sensor to the system with little more than domestic equipment available around the house (most people have a fridge and a kettle). Wherever we can we like to make the complicated as simple as possible. <br />
&nbsp;&nbsp; Injectors can now be calibrated for changing supply voltage with the &ldquo;user defined&rdquo; option. Over the last ten years we have seen power outputs in the tuning industry climb ever higher. Ten years ago 200bhp was an outstanding engine; currently it is not an uncommon output for a fast road conversion. This has meant that a wide range of larger injectors are now being used and many have wildly different requirements on voltage correction.&nbsp;<br />
Emerald are currently working on building up a library of correction curves for the most common injectors.</font></font></p>

The kit comprises four 1-way adjustable dampers with fitted springs. The single adjuster knob affects both bump and rebound together for simple setup and more road-biased useFully height adjustable and with 22 damper settings, you can have your car sitting as low or as high as you like (very low ride heights can be made to special order). The damping adjusters are easy to reach with the car on the ground and take just a few seconds to adjust if necessary .     <description><![CDATA[<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">The later Original Equipment Lotus steering rack cannot be modified to a&quot;quick-rack&quot; i.e the pinion gear is not replaceable with a current aftermarket gear.<br />
<br />
The early racks (which can be modified) tend to wear so these also are not an ideal long term solution.<br />

Eliseparts &amp; Nitron Racing Systems have&nbsp;developed a completely new quickrack that is not only a higher quality more robust unit it also has the &quot;designed in&quot; advantage of reducing the bump steer substantially. <br />

Many hours measuring and CAD development lead us to the ideal track control arm length and pivot point to match the Lotus wishbone pivot point (arc) thus reducing bump steer to the minimum practically possible.<br />

<p><span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma">The rubber bushes used on the Elise are sometimes too flexible and camber/castor changes whilst driving are inevitable. <br />
One alternative is to rose joint your vehicle, which can be too harsh for a road car.<br />

Now you can have the best of both worlds with these nylatron bushes. They do not affect the ride comfort of your car but intensify the handling capabilities by keeping the geometry as it should be under varying conditions.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

    <description><![CDATA[<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">One weakness of the Elise is the standard toe-link. If using wider tyres and doing occasional track days then this upgrade is a must. <br />
Basically, it uses a stronger toelink bar and beefs up the hub mounting point, we use the strongest rod ends available and wherever possible we use Stainless Steel i.e. shim kit etc.<br />

</font><font face="Tahoma" size="2">The kit comes complete with all spacers and fittings. <br />
Prices are lower for those cars running steel rear hubs (Black) as these will not require the aluminium strengthening bracket. <br />
<br />
For those cars running aluminium rear hubs (Silver/Ali) these do require the strengthening bracket which greatly increases the strength/stiffness of the aluminium rear hub and puts the toe link bolt in double sheer (i.e halving the bending forces on this important area).<br />

    <description><![CDATA[<p><font face="Tahoma" size="2">These items are very prone to wear on an Elise/Exige and are an MOT failure if the rubber dust covers are perished or split.<br />
<br />
These Elise Parts track rod ends are genuine original equipment and are priced very competitively, we even include the special M10 fine threaded nuts.<br />
<br />
</font><font face="Tahoma" size="2">To check for wear, lift the front wheels off the ground and get someone to turn the steering a few centimetres from side to side whilst you hold the wheel, there should be almost no movement of the steering wheel without immediate movement of the actual wheel.<br />
<br />
There are a few areas that can cause this, they are; Steering rack, Steering column universal joints or Track rod ends. <br />
If you can see good movement of the rack track control arm and hardly any movement of the steering arm/track rod end then these are worn and should be replaced.<br />
<br />
</font><font face="Tahoma" size="2">To check for UJ wear, turn the steering wheel from side to side and look under the column at the joint where it connects to the rack pinion all movement should be relayed straight through the UJ to the rack (make sure all bolts are tight and on the rack mount bolts too).<br />
