Late Lower Hose Conversion

Late Type Lower Hose has been specifically manufactured for us for those that want to upgrade the early Elise Mk1 water coolant system to the later ( 1998 onwards) type.

The early cooling system has the aluminium coolant return pipe running above the rear of the engine bay.

This locates the pipe above the manifold which can cause extra heat to be absorbed into the system and also creates issues with fitting a water to oil cooler kit or a remote thermostat within the system.

Our lower hose is made from the highest grade silicon and dimensionally accurate to the later Lotus specification.

Numbers 40 and 42 are our later type hose arangement whearas numbers 22 and 23 are the (top of engine) early type.

Prices start with just the Aluminium Hose and increase to include the full conversion.
