EP Tuning Quickrack

The later Original Equipment Lotus steering rack cannot be modified to a "quick-rack" i.e. the pinion gear is not replaceable with a current aftermarket gear.

The early racks (which can be modified) tend to wear so these also are not an ideal long term solution.

Back in 2002 EliseParts ( EP Tuning)  developed a completely new quickrack that is not only a higher quality more robust unit it also has the "designed in" advantage of reducing the bump steer substantially.

Many hours measuring and CAD development lead us to the ideal track control arm length and pivot point to match the Lotus wishbone pivot point (arc) thus reducing bump steer to the minimum practically possible.

2.45 turns lock to lock instead of the original 2.90 turns lock to lock on original equipment rack.
