Steering Rack Raiser Plates
These items are required if the ride height of your car is lowered by more than a few millimetres.
If you lower your suspension, the angle of your steering arm changes in relation to the height of the steering rack i.e. the steering rack track control arm is angled upwards.
The more you lower the suspension, the more acute this angle gets; this is a main cause of Bump Steer (Unwanted Camber/Toe changes whilst driving).
These original equipment (Lotus) raiser plates will raise the steering rack by approximately 8mm and although they will not remove the bump steer entirely they will help immensely.
