Many Head Gasket failures can be alleviated by the simple replacement of this inexpensive part.

Loss of coolant is a surefire way to damage your Cylinder Head and then creates gasket failure.

This is sometimes caused by the pressure cap not keeping pressure and leaking coolant prematurely, if the loss is not noticed you are soon down to dangerous levels of water in your cooling system.

Alleviate this by fitting a new cap at each service interval, a few pounds spent now could save many hundreds in the future.
