Distributor Cap

A small insignificant but inexpensive item that gets overlooked but is a very important part of your ignition system.

If this part is worn or tracking (leaking electrical charges) it can cause misfires, poor starting, back firing and lack of power.
It takes just a few minutes to change.

Simply loosen the 2 screws on the side of the distributor cap draw a brief diagram of where the 5 leads are placed and in what order then remove the 5 leads from the cap.

Fit the new distributor cap (there is a notch so it can only fit one way). Re fit the 5 ignition leads and start the engine to test.
