VVC Rear Timing Belt
If your timing belt snaps due to neglect or wear and tear it will destroy the engine as the valves will hit the pistons.
We recommend changing these every 25,000-30,000 miles or so to be 100% safe.
In the VVC engine there are 2 belts, one runs the camshaft timing the other runs the VVC mechanism, we advise the replacement of both belts as it is false economy to do one without the other.
OE Specification rear VVC timing belt.
REQUIRES CHANGING ALONG WITH THE LONG CAMBELT
