Lightweight EN24 Flywheel

The Lightest EN24 ALL steel flywheel available, similarly priced others are over 25% heavier ( 4.5KG+).

Special ring cut gear teeth to enhance the strength and enable further machining of the outside lightening holes

Ours has several advantages over any other flywheel. It has a lowest inertia of mass than any other steel flywheel; constructed from the highest quality EN24T steel (Most others are a “softer EN8”).

Especially stepped central "spigot" for absolute accurate centralisation (just one thousandth of an inch oversize can put the flywheel out of balance here).

Its trigger teeth are precisely machined to lower the outer rotational mass/weight. This lighter outer ring reduces the rotating mass by around 25% over other LIGHTWEIGHT flywheels.

We have even machined the outer ring gear into the flywheel to make this the strongest yet lightest flywheel available for the ‘K’ Series engine.

The flywheel is then strategically heat treated for ultimate strength and chemically blacked for corrosion resistance.

A lighter flywheel takes less power to turn, giving you a quicker throttle response and less mass to move means more power to your wheels. Tick over is not affected.

Standard original equipment flywheel weighs over 7kg; most aftermarket “lightweight” flywheels weigh over 4.5kg.

Ours weigh only 3.5kg and the extra 1kg is saved from the more important OUTER edge.
