Oil Pump and Housing

With an engine that revs to almost 8000 RPM the ‘K’ Series oil pump takes some pounding.

As with all mechanical parts these will wear out after 50-60,000 miles and shorter if a low quality oil has been used or infrequent oil changes.

Another concern is the ‘K’ Series engine has an oil pressure switch that is only activated at pressures below 5lb ft which can be disastrous for the main and con rod bearings.

This Brand new oil pump is supplied complete with all internal seals and sintered steel pump gear.

We can also supply the best quality  oil pump inner gear made from higher grade steel as seen in the related products and also a higher pressure ( 13lb ft) activated oil pressure switch.
