Mintex 1155 Brake Pads

Further to their standard aftermarket materials Mintex produce a range of specialised materials for Motorsport .

The latest family of Mintex materials have been developed known as C-Tech racing pad , this group of materials has been developed from Mintex 60 years involvement in motorsport.

The first material M1144 is mainly used for fast road use and is primarily targeted at sprited road drivers and the occasional track day user.

The other three materials M1155, M1166 and M1177 are specifically for circuit, track and rally competition use.

M1155 has a similar friction level to M1144 that we also supply, but remains consistent to a maximum operating temperature of 550-600°c.

For anyone that wants longevity and uses the car for high speed track use these pads are the best value for money available.

Like M1144 there is no special bedding in procedures for M1155 and they work pretty well from cold, but do expect some disc wear and brake dust.
