Anti-Rattle Door Striker Pins

The lock mechanism on your Lotus is a generic lock manufactured by GM, whereas the door beam striker pin itself is made specifically for Lotus.

Basically the pin is manufactured 1mm too small in diameter, this looseness then causes your door to rattle annoyingly over bumpy surfaces which will eventually badly wear your lock mechanism.
